Residents, construction update on the City’s bond-funded Street Project.

Residents, work on Cliffside Drive has been delayed last two weeks because of rain and the urgency to finish the curb tie-ins with NW Military before TxDOT starts asphalt laying. All curb tie-ins with NW Military are now complete. Concrete driveways in Phase 1 of Cliffside will be complete Tues/Wed next week. Asphalt in Phase 1 will follow soon thereafter, either Thurs/Fri next week, or Mon May 13th. Cliffside Phase 2 cement curbs and driveways will begin next week after Phase 1 concrete is complete. Thurs 5/2 thru Fri 5/3 D&D will be constructing a concrete swale on Cliffside. Phase 3 of Cliffside will start reconstruction in 2 weeks. Saddletree reconstruction will begin in June. Cliffside will be done in three phases:
Phase 1 – N.W. Military to 128 Cliffside
Phase 2 – 128 Cliffside to 400 Cliffside (near Windmill)
Phase 3 – 400 Cliffside to 423 Cliffside (near the saddletree transition)

Residents, Cliffside Drive from approximately 125 to 400 Cliffside will be cement stabilized Thurs 4/25, Fri 4/26 and Monday 4/29. There will be times when access will be limited throughout the process of cement stabilization (limited to 4-6 hours). Door hangers are going out to residents impacted on Cliffside. Residents, construction update on the Bond-funded street project. Bent Oak asphalt is complete. Phase 1 of Cliffside (N.W. Military to 128 Cliffside) is has ongoing concrete curbs and driveways work. Asphalt likely to be laid first week of May in Phase 1. Phase 2 of Cliffside (128 Cliffside to 400 Cliffside) started reconstruction this week. Late next week Phase 2 of Cliffside will get concrete subgrade stabilization. There will be times when access will be limited throughout the process of cement stabilization (limited to 4-6 hours). Phase 3 of Cliffside (400 Cliffside to 423 Cliffside) is likely to start reconstruction in early May. Call D&D's Barry Bonn @ 210.371.6504 if you need assistance.
